Vale Do Lobo, situated 12 mls W of Faro and its airport (Almansil 3 mls) lies amongst low-lying hills between Quarteira and Quinta do Lago. The Algarve is famed for its array of wonderful golf courses and sporting clubs and Vale Do Lobo is amongst the best of them. There are indoor and outdoor pools as well as many interesting restaurants and bars.
Vale Do Lobo
Vale Do Lobo is a 1,000-acre, purpose-built, 5-star luxury resort, set amid tree-lined streets and tropical gardens, with the principal road leading down to the main square and beach. A 27-hole golf course surrounds the whole complex. The ambience is one of peaceful luxury.

Praia Da Rocha Algarve Portugal

Comfortably situated at the mouth of the Arade estuary, Praia da Rocha is the Algarve’s best known and longest established resort. Its creamy yellow sands and warm crystalline waters have provided year-round tourist appeal since the 1930s.
Framed by ochre cliffs and lapped by sheltered Atlantic waters, the town’s 2-kilometre-long beach is one of the most photographed in Europe, largely due to its highly architectural rock formations. The sea has sculpted the soft cliffs along the coast into fantastic shapes in the form of pinnacles, buttresses and caves shimmering with reflected light.

The promenade on Praia da Rocha’s cliff top leads to the Fortaleza de Santa Catarina, built in 1621 to defend Silves and Portimão against opposing fleets.

The sandy beach at Armaçao de Pera is one of the largest on the Algarve and is set among huge cliff and rock formations. A stroll along the promenade will bring you to what remains of the original fishing village.

Alvor Algarve Portugal

Alvor is a traditional Portuguese fishing village (formerly a Roman settlement) which has developed into a small quaint resort; it remains unspoilt but offers everything needed for a relaxing holiday.
The main sandy beach is located at Praia de Alvor and has been recognised for its standard of cleanliness and peaceful surroundings. Water sports are available for those who wish to do more than laze on the beach.
